If only we could have scored front row seats (or any row for that matter) to this swoon-worthy event! New York Bridal fashion week has just come to a close and it seems that Fall 2017 is the season to get married. How is it possible that wedding dresses get more and more beautiful each year while still keeping to traditional white and fabrics such as lace, tulle and organza?
Is it the update in lace designs and fresh new ways of coordinating these special fabrics? Plunging necklines, illusion bodices and off the shoulder peek-a-boo styles entice and draw in even the most unforgiving eye to the beauty of the bride and her gown in these collections. Floor sweeping styles filled the runway and Reem Acra, Vera Wang and Monique Lhullier have to be our favourites, although it was virtually impossible to choose.
Have a look at some of the decadent beauties straight from New York and imagine you’re in the front row or even at the altar.
